HOUSE RULES
*All of the house rules must be read through to the end
*We will request a copy of your Driver's License after your Booking. We will request that this be shown when arriving at the property to obtain your code for entry. Please be sure the person booking is the person that is checking into the home the day of your arrival.
*Minimum Age to Book - 25 years old
*Please give an ETA - upon arrival you will be requested to go to the doorbell and ring it - You will be connected to a video call and requested to show your driver's license - upon confirmation that the license matches the individual booking the unit, you will be given your own unique entry access code -
*The Gate beside the house (to the right) is for your parking. There is a padlock on the gate and a lockbox that keeps the key. Please return the key to the lockbox and relock the padlock on the gate during your stay, so neither the lock nor the key get lost.
*While every attempt is made to keep properties in good working order, occasionally things break, fail or go out of adjustment. This is an unavoidable part of life. This may include but is not limited to disruption of internet service, heat or A/C. When these types of things happen, Host will make every attempt to correct or repair the problem as soon as possible, but only after Host has been alerted to the problem. However it may happen that a repair cannot be made immediately or even during the time Guest occupies the property. Regardless, if the property is otherwise habitable and guest remains in the property, Guest confirms and agrees that no refunds will be issued.
*Bad Weather days happen. No refunds will be given unless there is a Mandatory evacuation from the National Weather Service. In the event this occurs, only the remaining time of the guest stay that was disrupted will be reimbursed.
*There are bicycles and beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, etc.) in the shed for your use during your stay. There are three bikes that are "chained" in the back of the shed, that are excluded from use. There are bike locks inside the shed door, to be used if you are riding bicycles and plan to leave them unattended for any period of time. DO NOT leave bikes unattended that are not locked. Any lost, stolen or missing bicycles will result in a minimum of $75.00 charge. Please do not bring chairs, umbrellas or other beach equipment into the house. Please keep them stored in the shed area (rinse thoroughly before returning to shed).
*Security deposits and/or any unused daily rental fee, will only be refunded if no damage is done to the home or its contents, no towels or linens are lost, taken or damaged, all beach passes are returned, the guest is not evicted during the stay, the home is in clean and sanitary condition (same or better condition as when entering the property), and no items are broken or missing. Additionally if any of the rules are broken you will be asked to leave the premises and forfeit all monies paid, due or owing.
*If you choose to use the "record player" please be careful not to scratch the records or break the needle. If the needle is broken we will charge you for replacement.
*There are bath and beach towels on each level of the home for your use. We ask that you try to please keep items that are on the 1st floor, on the 1st floor and same for the 2nd floor please.
*Only people that have registered as a Guest are permitted at the property. There is a maximum of 14 Guests permitted in the home.
*ANY PERSON THAT REGISTERS FOR THE PROPERTY MUST BE AT THE PROPERTY DURING THE ENTIRE TIME OF YOUR SCHEDULED STAY! IF DETERMINED THAT THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN RESERVED FOR PEOPLE OTHER THAN THE PERSON RESERVING THE PROPERTY, ALL PERSONS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERY IMMEDIATELY! TO BE CLEAR, WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ADULT INDIVIDUALS OLD ENOUGH TO BOOK THIS HOUSE, TO BOOK IT FOR YOUNGER (under 25) and/or MINOR CHILDREN WITHOUT ADULT (OVER THE AGE OF 25) CONTINUOUS SUPERVISION.
*Guests recognize that the property is located within a residential neighborhood and further agrees to use the property in a manner that is customarily confirming to codes and ordinances regarding noise and personal conduct (no yelling, loud music, etc.). Please observe quiet time and do not disturb the neighbors from the hours of 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
*No underage drinking !!!!
*No drinking or loitering on the sidewalk in front of the house
*You are not permitted to change the locks at the house at any time during your stay. Any requirement for a locksmith to come to the property will result in a $150.00 minimum fee.
*Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate removal from the property without any refund.
*Owner will not be liable or responsible for any personal items left behind, lost or stolen or damage to any person or property on or about the property. If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, message owner as soon as possible and we will arrange for shipment. We will inform you of the shipping costs and with your approval send a Venmo request to cover expense. Items will only be returned with prepaid shipping paid.
*Any Summons or violations is the responsibility of the Guest
*Host reserves the right to remove guest(s) at any time, if any house rules are violated, with potential of no refund of any monies. Additionally, if property manager is called to assist in removing individuals, there will be a minimum fee of $350.00 charged.
*The homeowner is not responsible for any damage, accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the property/premises. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest(s). By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Guests (including pets if any) are expressly assuming the risk of any harm, injury or loss arising from their use of the premises (including all items used by Guest).
